Employee Development

Following a well structured selection process, successful candidates are run through a mandatory one-week induction programme. Following this closely is the practical attachment with experienced officers in the particular area the candidate is engaged for. However, within the first 6 months it is ensured that non-HMO trainees are put through further trainings put together by the Risk Management Group to ensure that the fundamentals are imbibed. External facilitators are engaged especially in the area of soft-skills. Every employee has a maximum of one-year to be assessed for confirmation. A trainee that meets the required minimum expectation is confirmed. Where a trainee, for any reason, does not meet the requirements for confirmation, he/she is equally notified.
